Student Behaviour Mentor - Newbury

Do you want to act as a role model to students facing challenges in education?

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join as a Student Behaviour Mentor in April 2025. We are a specialist education school located in Newbury, supporting students aged 11-16 years old. The Student Behaviour Mentor role focuses on building trust and rapport, developing independence, and motivating students throughout their education.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils facing behaviour management challenges
  • Helping students to learn and practice healthy coping mechanisms
  • Tracking progress and implementing education plans
  • Practicing effective communication skills to resolve conflicts and emotional regulation
  • Motivating students to develop independence and engagement with learning material

Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
