Structured Solutions Specialist (FX Options)

This is an exciting role to join Argentex as Structured Solutions Specialist (FX Options). Teaming up with a floor of experienced Business Development Managers and Dealers, you will support and identify FX Option & Hedging opportunities on New and Existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of structuring, presenting and executing bespoke FX Option Structured Solutions to Large Corporates & Institutional clients.

Based in London, you will report directly to the Head of Structured Solutions, working four days a week from the office, with some international travel to support regional teams in the UK, Amsterdam, and Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a team player, that shows initiative and collaborates well with all stakeholders, while being responsible for contributing to a team sales target.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration & Coaching:
    • Collaborate with regional Business Development Managers and Dealing Teams to drive New and Existing hedging opportunities, with a focus on FX Options and derivatives.
    • Manage a pipeline of hedging-focused prospects and ensure that New and Existing clients receive high-class service.
    • Provide tactical support to Heads of Sales across regions (UK, Amsterdam), assisting in achieving sales targets and working closely with the Head of Structured Solutions to deliver sales targets related to FX Options.
    • Share expertise on FX Options and hedging solutions, offering sales guidance, and mentoring to regional teams, particularly in client meetings related to hedging strategies.
    • Collaborate with the Structured Solutions Team to deliver expertise in FX Options and Risk management to achieve a team target and deliver individual KPIs and Sales Target.
  • Hedging Client Solutions & Strategy:
    • Work directly with key clients to understand their hedging needs and present bespoke hedging solutions with a strong focus on FX Options.
    • Collaborate with the Head of Structured Solutions to design and execute bespoke hedging solutions that meet client risk management objectives.
    • Coordinate with regional sales teams to develop local strategies for selling FX options and derivatives.

Sales Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Track personal sales performance against individual targets and KPIs, focusing on growing existing client FX Option trading and acquiring new business prospects.
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Structured Solutions and Sales Leadership, ensuring alignment with broader sales and business goals.
  • Assist in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning to drive growth in FX options and derivative sales.

Training & Development:

  • Deliver training sessions to regional sales teams on FX options, derivatives, and hedging strategies, working closely with the Head of Structured Solutions to ensure training content is aligned with the latest product offerings and market trends.
  • Mentor and support team members to deepen their understanding of complex FX products and risk management strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the sales team, ensuring that they are well-equipped to engage clients and meet their needs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Candidate must have 5+ years of experience in FX Option Structuring and Structured Solution Sales, with a strong track record in new business development and achieving sales targets.
  • Must be proactive, with strong attention to detail, ability to identify opportunities, develop tools and execute bespoke strategies independently.
  • Hold a deep understanding of FX Markets and FX Products, with a focus on FX Options and hedging solutions.
  • Experienced working in an Advisory Capacity creating, pitching, and delivering FX Solutions to high value Corporates and Institutional Clients.
  • Previously certified by an FCA Regulated Firm with a clean regulatory record (CF, SMCR etc).
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite with a strong ability in Excel &/or Financial Modelling.
  • Experienced using Bloomberg OVML and Kace.
