1-3 PQE Structured Finance Associate

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Structured Finance lawyer to join their dynamic and growing practice in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented finance lawyer to take on a key role within a top-tier structured finance team known for its technical excellence and client-centric approach.

Position Overview

As a Structured Finance Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional legal services to the firm's prestigious client base. You will work closely with partners and senior associates on a wide range of complex structured finance transactions, with a particular focus on secured borrowing base facilities. This position offers the chance to expand your expertise, take on increased responsibility, and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Take primary responsibility for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating senior and mezzanine finance documents.
• Manage transaction processes from inception to completion, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' industries, businesses, and unique challenges.
• Explore innovative solutions, such as the use of AI, to enhance service delivery.
• Foster and grow client relationships through exceptional service and proactive engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas and industry groups to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Actively participate in training, mentoring, and leadership development programmes.

Requirements

• 1-3 PQE - Qualified in E&W or commonwealth jurisdictions.
• Strong expertise in LMA facility and intercreditor documents and English law security documents.
• Proven ability to lead and manage LMA-style transactions from concept to completion.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for expanding knowledge of structured finance products.
• Excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong relationship-building and client management skills.
• Commitment to understanding clients' needs and delivering high-quality, impactful advice.
