Salary: Up to £45,000

Based in Leicester, my client is a successful UK-based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering. We're seeking a talented Structural Technician to join their busy team and have the opportunity to participate in projects ranging from education, commercial, retail, leisure and culture, heritage, residential and commercial developments, and student housing.

To be considered for this Structural Technician role, it is essential for candidates to have the following:

1. A minimum of 2 years' work experience in infrastructure engineering/flood prevention
2. Qualifications of either Meng, BEng, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering
3. Working knowledge of building engineering and detailing of steel and concrete
4. Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)

Duties and responsibilities for this Structural Technician include:

1. Ability to use AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit and CADS RC by creating engineering design plans
2. Working closely with design teams and other professionals on construction plans
3. Providing technical engineering advice
4. Inspecting buildings to assess their structural integrity
