Role: Structural Technician
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (Guide - Open to Discussion - Skills Dependent)

A new Structural Technician opportunity has arisen with myClient in Birmingham. There has never been a more exciting time to join my Client's company, with the development of a new Team and Department of skilled and highly experienced engineering professionals already in place and expanding! Offering centrally located offices, hybrid working arrangements and a healthy pipeline of work and projects to be involved in as a Structural Technician.

MyClient is on the lookout for a talented Structural Technician to work on a range of projects across the broad residential sector (housing, apartments, mid-rise, retirement) as well as other design schemes set across the Structural Engineering sector.

Skills

• Knowledge of concrete, steel and load-bearing masonry and timber structures
• Ability to review and implement site investigation reports, NHBC guidelines, Building Regulations, LABC and BRE etc.
• Attend Design team Meetings
• Attend site to review issues if and when required
• Undertaking of structural drawings and details including RC Detailing

Software

• AutoCAD
• CADS RC
• Revit - Not essential to success in the role but beneficial
• Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam
