Overview:

Lorien is working with a multi-award-winning Engineering consultancy experiencing ongoing success and expansion across their UK bases. Due to an increase in business demand, they are looking to grow their Engineering function by bringing on a Senior or Mid-level Structural Project Engineer.

You will join a supportive and passionate team, collaborate on exciting new projects, and benefit from a steady workflow of challenges.

Outline of the role:

1. Work with a team of engineering specialists to run projects for key clients.
2. Craft structural engineering solutions and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
3. Drive the delivery of projects while ensuring high quality.
4. Maintain communication with clients, ensuring they are updated and feel heard.
5. Manage and review documents and drawings for quality and compliance.

The skills/knowledge you'll bring:

1. Proven background in Structural Engineering design and relevant software.
2. Willingness to learn and work towards chartership or other qualifications.
3. Ability to manage projects for new builds and updates to existing structures.
4. Experience in team leadership, mentoring junior staff, and reviewing work.
5. Ability to assess buildings and prepare SERs/calculation packages.
