We are searching for a Structural Engineer who is working toward chartership to join a talented and highly experienced design team. With over 30 years of history, this practice has gone from strength to strength and enjoys a substantial share of the local market.


This business has contemporary and well-located offices in an easily accessible area of South Devon. They typically cover both local and national projects from the following sectors:

  1. Leisure
  2. Retail
  3. Residential
  4. Commercial
  5. Industrial
  6. Education
  7. Healthcare

Projects are typically complex and challenging, so we are ideally looking for someone who enjoys problem solving and a variety of work. Successful candidates can expect to be working with all traditional building materials along with cutting edge software.


This business is heavily involved in all aspects of the local market, from charitable work to hosting major industry events. Ideally, candidates would be interested in representing the business.


Responsibilities:
  1. Running your own projects and aiding in successful project delivery
  2. Liaising with clients, contractors, and architects
  3. Managing your own workload and following the process from inception to completion
  4. Undertaking site visits, structural surveys, and writing reports
  5. Producing design calculations
  6. Completing key objectives on your route to chartership
