Title: Structural Engineer

Location: London

About the Role: Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their expanding design consultancy. This role offers ongoing technical design support to a diverse range of UK clients, with consistent work available and promising development opportunities for the right candidate.

As a Structural Engineer, you'll work on various residential, commercial, and education projects. Demonstrable experience in delivering designs for these sectors is essential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Producing accurate reports and designs.
  2. Providing valuable input and contributions to the team.
  3. Assisting in the continuous development of the business.

About You: Candidates should possess:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience with UK-based design consultancies.
  2. A background in similar projects to align with our client's existing and upcoming workload.

You should also demonstrate:

  1. A confident, commercial, and professional demeanor.
  2. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  3. Proficiency with Steel, Concrete, and Masonry.
  4. Strong skills in British Standards, Eurocodes, and relevant design guidance.
  5. Analytical, communication, and technical design capabilities.
  6. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  7. Proven experience using Tekla Structural Designer software.
  8. A background in working on Concrete Frame structures.

Required Software Skills:

  1. AutoCAD
  2. Tekla Structural Designer
  3. Microsoft Office suite
