Are you a Structural Engineer with expertise in timber and steel structures? Keen to hit the ground running with for a new challenge working for an innovative company in the off-site construction sector?

We are working with a leading contractor, who specialise in Structurally Insulated Panels. They are looking for a Structural Engineer who is looking to grow within their company, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, sustainable construction solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing and analysing structural steel and timber systems
2. Carrying out feasibility studies and site inspections, assessing structural integrity
3. Collaborating with a range of stakeholders to develop design concepts
4. Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents
5. Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards
6. Performing calculations and simulations to evaluate load-bearing capacities

We are looking for:

1. Qualified degree level in Structural or Civil Engineering
2. Proven experience as a Structural Engineer with expertise primarily in steel, concrete, and timber structures
3. Good knowledge of British standards and/or Eurocodes
4. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
7. Professional accreditation with IStructE or ICE would be of particular benefit
