Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician
A Worle, Weston super Mare, Bristol structural engineering design firm is looking to recruit a Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician to join the team.
The Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician will work on commercial, residential, and public sector projects.
This is a full-time, permanent position for a Structural Technician who could progress to CAD Manager / Drawing Office Manager / Associate Director in the future.
The role involves liaising with the Associate Director and Director in managing a team of both senior and junior technicians.
Day-to-day tasks include detailing and drafting reinforced concrete structures, creating structural drawings, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
The Structural Technician / Structural CAD Technician Will Need:
- Proficiency in RC detailing and structural drafting
- Experience in creating structural drawings
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and contractors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
