The Company

With 40 years of experience in the industry, this company provides award winning civil engineering programmes and highway services to a number of public sector clients. Working alongside local authorities, they aim to create communities where people want to live, work, and play.

The Role

As a Streetworks Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the Operations team by planning and coordinating works, ensuring correct permits are in place, and maintaining accurate records. This role also involves liaising with key stakeholders, managing financial and performance data, and ensuring smooth project delivery.

In Short, You Will:
  1. Plan and allocate works efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met.
  3. Liaise with clients, supervisors, and network management teams to permit, schedule, and oversee works.
  4. Coordinate subcontractor works, including road lining and drainage.
  5. Manage and update maintenance management systems such as Alloy.
  6. Process applications for payment and provide accurate cost allocations.
  7. Organise materials and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  8. Support insurance claims by investigating and providing supporting documentation.
