In our team you will:

  • Anticipate the ways digital and technology innovation (e.g. Generative AI) impacts business models and harness them to create new routes to growth.
  • Gain exposure to Accenture’s multi-faceted organisation, working on the key strategic challenges that occupy the minds of leaders whilst also partnering across Accenture to bring those to life.

As a Growth Strategy Manager, you will:

  • Manage project workstreams or deliverables in client delivery work, leading a team to deliver effective, high-quality work.
  • Be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, data-driven recommendations that exceed client expectations and drive measurable results, leveraging corporate and growth strategy experience combined with market trends.
  • Manage and cultivate strong day-to-day relationships with client project leads; present to senior clients to validate analysis and share recommendations.
  • Contribute to developing offerings, assets, capabilities and relevant thought leadership as well as business development and sales efforts.
  • Collaborate across Accenture, fostering relationships with different teams to support in end-to-end client delivery.
  • Apply innovation and data-driven techniques.
  • Coach team members and lead them to deliver their best performance aligned to project and professional growth objectives.
  • Be responsible for delivery of commercials during project work, shaping and contracting new opportunities and extensions and in scoping, pricing and developing new projects and contracts.

Set yourself apart:

  • Knowledge of corporate strategy big bets like digital commerce, subscription models, direct to consumer or membership propositions.
  • Experience of driving value and growth-focused transformations in an organisation.
  • Proven history of working on strategic projects in a top tier consulting firm or internal corporate strategy team.
  • Experience or knowledge of how to apply innovation for growth – for example, Generative AI solutions for growth.

Location:
Your home office will be in London. This role is client-facing and may therefore involve travel, working in other parts of the UK as well as overseas depending on the needs of the project. Flexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role to provide the first-class services we are known for.

We are looking for experience in the following areas:

  • 5-7 years’ relevant experience in corporate and growth strategy development; prior management consulting experience is a plus.
  • Functional knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Portfolio strategies to identify growth opportunities across markets, customers and products.
    • Customer proposition or new business model development that can unlock identified growth opportunities.
    • Market / opportunity sizing and investment case development.
    • Corporate strategy big bets like digital commerce, subscription models, direct to consumer or membership propositions.
    • Driving value and growth-focused transformations in an organisation.
    • Knowledge of pricing strategy is a plus.
    • Interest and experience in latest innovations and their application to corporate strategy (e.g. Generative AI) is a plus.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • People management experience, including coaching.
  • Client management experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral; ability to present with confidence, empathy and deliver difficult messages; fluency in English.
  • Comfortable with working on difficult issues where there can be no definitive “right” answer. Demonstrate the ability to provide the client with what they need, not just what they ask.
  • An interest in technology and data and knowledge of innovation and how to apply it to creatively shape new corporate and growth solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record. An advanced degree or MBA is a plus but not essential.
