As a Strategy Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in delivering dedicated support to victims of sexual assault. We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to join us. This is an opportunity to be a difference maker for those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be part of all strategy meetings with both the police and social care and advise on the best route for the child or young person.
  • Ensure that children requiring a child protection medical are directed to the most appropriate Pediatrician.
  • Discuss all elements of the child's attendance in a multi-agency arena during strategy meetings.
  • When acting as Crisis Worker, provide cover for both the Paediatric and adult Forensic Services at The SARC's.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping/documentation and confidential client notes as per protocols.
  • Liaise with other voluntary and statutory agencies to meet the health and psychological needs of patients.
  • Ensure the secure storage of all SARC files and forensic samples for potential use in criminal investigations.

Location: The Harbour Centre SARC

Hours: 8 hours per week

Shift Patterns: 9am - 5pm

Salary: £29,699 pro rata based on 40 hours per week

Minimum Requirements:

  • IT Literate
  • Basic administration skills
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and children
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding Children and Adults
  • Understanding of Confidentiality
  • Experience with individuals who may have complex needs
  • Experience with individuals who have experienced sexual assault/violence
  • Project development and outreach experience
  • Training and presentation skills
