Global Insurance business has a strategic plan to establish Capability based Strategic Workforce Planning within existing business as usual planning frameworks.
This strategy is in early stages and being tested in specific parts of the business with a view of rolling out throughout the business thereafter.
As such they are now looking to add to their team working on the business-as-usual planning framework dedicated support and need to hire an experienced Strategic Workforce Planning Contractor.

The role will focus on:

  1. Lead the design, development and implementation of in-house Strategic Workforce Planning tool working closely with the HR and technology teams.
  2. Support developing a repeatable, scalable Strategic Workforce Planning blueprint/framework with standardized methodologies and templates based on existing projects.

You will:

  1. Be responsible for the HR/business side management of the development of an in-house SWP tool supported by an internal SWP consultant.
  2. Define and refine a detailed set of business requirements to ensure the SWP tool development meets all key stakeholder needs.
  3. Collaborate with technology colleagues to review and adjust development iterations.
  4. Establish communication material to train and raise awareness of Strategic Workforce Planning, including tool development progress, across HR, and other key stakeholders.
  5. Plan and deliver testing of the developed SWP tool to ensure business requirements are met.
  6. Responsible for planning and executing a successful implementation of the SWP tool including change management, training and communication.
  7. Source, collate and distil presentations and reports used so far to create standard blueprint with re-usable templates for future Strategic Workforce Planning assignments.

You will be a hands-on self-starter with proven experience leading SWP initiatives within large, global organizations (preferably in Financial Services/Insurance). Proven communication and collaboration skills.
