About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager with a strong focus on external manufacturing sourcing to join our team on a 4-month contract. This role will be instrumental in optimizing supplier relationships, ensuring a resilient and cost-effective supply chain, and driving long-term competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead external manufacturing sourcing initiatives to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify, assess, and onboard external manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize supplier selection and relationship management.
• Manage supplier negotiations and agreements, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Provide strategic insights and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Lead and support sourcing-related projects, identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Key Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in external manufacturing sourcing, supplier management, or procurement.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate across functions.
• Experience in contract negotiation and supplier agreements (preferred but secondary to sourcing).
• Excellent presentation skills to communicate strategies and recommendations effectively.
• Ability to work independently while aligning with broader business objectives.
• Available to start in early March.

This role falls within the Commercial – Strategic Sourcing function, responsible for creating and implementing sourcing strategies that drive long-term value for the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a robust and sustainable supply chain for external manufacturing operations.
