An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a strategic planning partnership involving multiple councils. This role focuses on supporting the preparation of a new Strategic and Local Plan, with an emphasis on infrastructure planning. About The Role
This is an exciting time to join the strategic planning partnership between Cheltenham Borough, Gloucester City and Tewkesbury Borough Councils. Together, we are preparing a new Strategic and Local Plan (SLP), which will provide the future planning framework to deliver significant growth across the area. In this role, you will support the preparation of the SLP, but with a primary focus on infrastructure planning.
The joint councils have an adopted Community Infrastructure Levy charging schedule and have agreed to work together on the strategic allocation and spend of CIL. In this high profile role, you will be responsible for making recommendations to lead members for the allocation of CIL, working closely across all three councils and with our partners at Gloucestershire County Council as well as other stakeholders with responsibility for the delivery of key infrastructure.
