Location: Greater London Area

The Role

The Strategic Engagement Executive role will drive and quarterback complex mega deals (50M+) within the Strategic Sales practice, ensuring successful positioning of Cognizant’s multi-tower solutions while creating value for clients through effective deal structuring and execution.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and quarterback complex mega deals (50M+) involving multiple solution towers, from initial engagement through deal closure.
  2. Articulate compelling win themes and value propositions to position Cognizant favorably with strategic clients.
  3. Drive deal structuring, including pricing models and solution architecture, ensuring alignment with both client needs and Cognizant capabilities.
  4. Manage multiple concurrent deal pursuits through effective scheduling and stakeholder coordination.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  7. Document and share best practices and lessons learned from deal experiences.
  8. Create and maintain deal governance frameworks to ensure successful execution.
  9. Drive innovation in deal structuring and solution development.

Qualifications

  1. 15+ years of experience in strategic sales or complex deal management.
  2. MBA or equivalent business degree preferred.
  3. Demonstrated success in closing multiple 50M+ USD deals.
  4. Experience in multi-tower solution sales.
  5. Strong background in IT services industry.
  6. Proven track record in leading and closing mega deals (50M+ USD).
  7. Strong understanding of complex pricing models and solution architectures.
  8. Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication.
  9. Strategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
  10. Deep knowledge of IT services industry and digital transformation.
  11. Strong negotiation and influence skills.
  12. Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.

Work Authorization

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the UK without company sponsorship.

Location

The successful candidate should live within commuting distance of the City of London.
