TL;DR Kharon is seeking a full-time, London-based Strategic Account Director. This role requires in-office attendance at least 4 days per week, with additional flexibility awarded after complete onboarding.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage international and Tier 1 banking accounts and develop comprehensive strategies that encompass new business development, resource allocation, and revenue forecasting.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives designed to enhance sales performance, secure customer loyalty, and attain or exceed revenue objectives.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of Kharon’s platform, its full range of features, advantages, and services, while cultivating key relationships and monitoring competitive risks.
  • Sustain comprehensive knowledge of each client's organization and operational procedures to adeptly guide them toward the most suitable solutions.
  • Act as the principal conduit between clients and Kharon's diverse business divisions, guaranteeing unparalleled service and solutions.
  • Streamline and supervise the management of complex client engagements, including post-sale integration and product deployment, swift invoicing, and prompt renewals.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that capture client goals, organizational structures, and retention/growth strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
  • A robust academic or professional exposure to global security, international relations, financial crime, compliance, or regulatory environments. Banking sector risk management experience strongly preferred.
  • A foundational understanding of compliance frameworks such as anti-money laundering, financial crime and illicit financing, sanctions regimes, and environmental, social and governance standards.
  • 5+ years experience selling into, or working within, banking and financial services markets and demonstrated track record in managing these major global accounts.
  • Strong understanding of B2B solution selling and experience managing the full post-sale lifecycle, including onboarding, renewal, and upsell processes.
  • Deep familiarity with platform-based or data-driven products, with the ability to explain technical features and competitive advantages to clients.
  • Proven track record of owning account strategy, new business development, client retention, and revenue growth.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across global institutions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% annually
