Job description
AM2PM are looking for a Stores Person/Work Assistant to join a great team in Hinckley!
Salary: £13 per hour
Working Hours:
- 8-4:45 Monday to Thursday
- 8-12:30 Friday (Early Finish)
Requirements:
- Full Driving License required
- FLT Reach desirable but not essential – training can be given!
Responsibilities:
- Answering the front door to suppliers and receiving and booking in of deliveries, checking items delivered against delivery documentation that is sent with goods.
- Checking received fabricated parts against detailed drawings.
- Enter the goods received onto the Sage system; knowledge of SAGE desirable, training can be given.
- Weekly consumable stock checks and reordering.
- Picking and allocating site and build material.
- Wrapping and packing of material and panels.
- Vehicle upkeep i.e., booking MOT’s, servicing and keeping them clean and in good condition.
- Driving tasks such as collections or deliveries (Driving Licence essential).
- Reach truck work for loading/unloading; license desirable, training can be given.
- General housekeeping of the workshop.
- Help to maintain the QMS system, gather tools and equipment to be sent away that are due for calibration, etc.
- Supporting the workshop staff with part queries and getting items from stock.
- Checking the stores for cables and parts for designers.
- Previous experience in a Stores role would be an advantage, although training will be given to the successful applicant.

You will be able to use your own initiative and stay productive. Driving License essential; you will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
