Due to the continued growth of our business, we are seeking a Stock and Warehouse Assistant to join our team ASAP on a full-time basis working Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm with free parking. You will be working from our modern warehouse and workshop facility in Farnborough where we repair and refurbish small electrical items ready for resale or return after repair to our customers worldwide. The role would suit candidates with some stores, stock, warehouse, or picking and packing experience now seeking job stability and security. We can offer full training on our processes and procedures, but you must be PC literate and numerate and happy to be on your feet for most of the day. You will be working as part of a team of 3 in stores alongside our wider operations and assembly team. We are a well-established company that repairs and refurbishes a range of small electrical equipment for customers across the UK.
Initially, due to a large volume of orders, you will be picking and packing stock ready for dispatch. You will then be trained on the wider duties of the role including stock ownership, accurate stock records, stock control, continually improving processes & procedures, focusing on improving quality of service, reducing costs, meeting customer delivery requirements, and updating stock management systems.
To be considered for the role of Stock and Warehouse Assistant, you will have excellent communication skills as well as good PC skills. You should be enthusiastic to learn new skills, have the ability to follow rules and processes, be a problem solver, have excellent organisational skills, and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
