Job Role: Stonemason

Area: Canterbury

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 DOE

I am working with a leading supplier of fully bespoke headstones and memorials.

Responsibilities include:

1. Production and finishing of memorial stones.
2. Sandblasting.
3. Padding stones.
4. Memorial Installation.
5. Gilding and painting inscriptions.
6. Maintain and manage the workshop area and tools.
7. Managing stock, tools and supplies.
8. Relief carving.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with stone, ideally memorials, and a keen eye for detail and an affinity for design aesthetics.
2. A natural talent for working with your hands.
3. Proficient with both modern power tools and traditional hand tools.
4. Able to lift and carry heavy objects.
5. A keenness for learning and exceptional problem-solving skills.
6. Able to interpret designs.
7. Occasional weekday overtime and weekend work may be required.
8. Driving License.
