Our client is a growing engineering company that has a fantastic reputation. They are seeking a Stock Controller to join their team.
The Role
The main purpose of the Stock Controller role is to ensure accurate and efficient management of inventory within the warehouse.
This is a hands-on role that has full responsibility for cleaning the items as well as monitoring stock levels, coordinating the intake and delivery of new stock, maintaining inventory records, ensuring quality control, and preparing inventory reports.
The Stock Controller is also responsible for continuous improvement of inventory processes, managing returns, and ensuring stock is ready immediately after return.
The scope of the role involves maintenance and responsibility for cleaning, maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating deliveries, quality control, and inventory data management.
The role includes preparing reports, process improvements, managing returns, and liaising with key teams accordingly.
The Stock Controller will work under the guidance of the Procurement Manager to align inventory activities with procurement strategies.
The Candidate
Experience in stock control with the ability to maintain accurate stock levels and create reports
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Experienced in using ERP / MRP systems
Experienced in overseeing the returns process
Ability to use a forklift and has previously had a license (can refresh)
The Package
Offering between £26,000 to £32,000 per annum.
