THE ROLE

Reporting into the Stock Room Manager, we are looking for a Stock Controller to join the team at our Browns Fashion store in the heart of Mayfair. The Stock Controller will be responsible for the movement of stock, as well as looking for ways to improve processes and eliminate stock loss and damage. The role will involve hands-on stockroom operation management, working with the Stockroom Manager in a luxury goods retail business stockroom with a capacity of 25,000 units, which is servicing both a retail store and website clientele.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  1. Operating as a senior in a team of 8, you will ensure that the training and development for further responsibilities is provided.
  2. You will coordinate and complete stock counts and cycle counts to prevent and minimize the level of discrepancies.
  3. You will investigate and correct stock variances.
  4. You will monitor existing processes across the business to maintain stock accuracy.
  5. You will oversee time-efficient investigations for online order queries with missing stock.
  6. You will implement new processes with the Stock Room team to reduce the number of issues.
  7. You will liaise with cross-functional departments and the distribution center on stock movements and corrections.
  8. You will liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure stock-related procedures and reporting are followed.
  9. You will monitor stock-flow between distribution center and store.

WHO YOU ARE

  1. A motivated individual with a can-do attitude.
  2. Previous stock controller experience.
  3. Experience using software such as Storm, Cegid or Nav (preferable).
  4. Experience managing the movement of stock.
  5. Experience conducting stock investigations and complete resolutions.
