Thrive Oldham are recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor in the Bury area.
37 hours per week
Purpose and Objectives of Post:
Responsible for the provision of a high quality and comprehensive stock condition surveys to enable Asset Planning and Stock Management.
Immediately Responsible to: Stock Investment Manager
Relationships Internal:
Housing Services, Corporate Services, Procurement, Customers and Internal Clients.

Short listing criteria Essential:
GCSE English and Maths or Equivalent.
HNC (or Equivalent) in Building studies or equivalent.
Demonstrable knowledge of building construction, building defects, services, and Health and safety legislation.
Detailed knowledge of legislation and current practice relating to repair, maintenance, and development of buildings and land.
An understanding of contract administration processes and systems.
Experience of working with the public housing sector.
Ability to survey, inspect and measure dwellings.
Able to produce comprehensive technical matters and put forward project or business cases.
Able to analyse and interpret financial, performance, and resource information and produce complex project reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including use of IT systems, software, and databases for extracting and publishing data.
Able to manage own time and workload, working on own initiative prioritising work and working to deadlines.
