Prospectus is excited to be working with a well-established international medical charity to help them recruit for a Stewardship Manager to join their team. This organisation provides life-saving emergency relief and longer-term medical care to some of the most vulnerable and excluded communities around the world. As an independent medical humanitarian organisation, they deliver care based only on need, regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion, or political affiliation.
This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis with a salary of £51,577.05 per annum. The postholder will be working 2 days a week from their offices in London and the rest from home.
The Stewardship Manager will deliver a defined stewardship programme aimed at engaging with major donors through a range of mechanisms to ensure that both new and existing donors are appropriately acknowledged, recognised, and informed about the impact of their giving – providing the highest quality of relationship with the charity in the UK. This central role has an overview of their portfolio of major donors, in order to successfully deliver these activities. You will be developing the philanthropy thanking strategy and working with the Philanthropy Managers to also develop an engagement strategy for new donors.
They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of initiating and managing stewardship activities. The ideal candidate will be a confident manager and a team player with proven experience of developing donor stewardship strategies and managing administrative functions.
