Role and Responsibilities: The STEM Learning Mentor will be instrumental in aiding students' academic and personal development in STEM subjects. Main duties include:

  1. Providing personalised 1:1 and small group support to students, adapting sessions to suit individual learning needs and preferences.
  2. Assisting with the creation and delivery of stimulating and interactive STEM lessons and activities.
  3. Working closely with teachers to identify students in need of extra support and developing effective strategies to improve their comprehension and performance.
  4. Tracking and evaluating student progress, offering constructive feedback and setting realistic goals.
  5. Creating a supportive and motivating learning atmosphere that fosters curiosity and enthusiasm for STEM subjects.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or someone looking for a graduate placement, with a strong academic background in a STEM field. Additionally, the successful applicant will have:
