Adept Resourcing is partnering with a global leader in steel market analysis, a company renowned for delivering accurate, independently researched global steel prices, indices, and forecasts. Based in the heart of Sheffield - the UK's 'Steel City' - this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team at the forefront of the steel sector.

We are seeking a Steel Market Research Analyst to join the team and help maintain the company's reputation for quality research and insight. If you are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, this could be the ideal role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research into the global steel market, identifying trends, regulations, and price fluctuations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry experts and stakeholders.
• Collect, verify, and analyse data to contribute to market reports and forecasts.
• Write and contribute to the company's publications, articles, and news updates (a key part of the role - willingness to learn writing is essential).
• Represent the company at industry conferences and seminars to enhance professional networks.
• Support the internal team to ensure data accuracy and uphold confidentiality.

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

• You have experience in the steel sector or a related field (sales, purchasing, or a similar industry).
• You have a strong understanding of steel prices and market structures.
• You're eager to develop your writing skills to communicate your research findings clearly.
• You possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

£35k - £60k salary (subject to experience)
35-hour working week, with a great work-life balance

Office based in Sheffield with 6 days working from home per month
