Job description

Randstad C&P are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer on behalf of a global FM client. Are you a multi-skilled mechanical engineer looking for a new opportunity?

As a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of mechanical systems, including heating, air-conditioning, and water systems. You'll ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

The Package:

  1. Monday - Friday (42.5 hours per week)
  2. Competitive salary of £23 ph PAYE
  3. Overtime & weekend work available
  4. On-call rota participation available

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.
  2. Maintain Evaporative Cooling Systems and Domestic Water Systems in line with L8 standards.
  3. Diagnose and repair faults with pumps, motors, valves, and cooling towers.
  4. Ensure all work meets health and safety requirements.
  5. Provide excellent customer service while working on-site.

Requirements:

  1. Multi-skilled mechanical engineer with plumbing expertise.
  2. Experience working with heating, cooling, and water systems.
  3. Strong understanding of pumps, motors, and valves.
  4. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical (or equivalent).
  5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in maintenance environments.
