Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for motivated Staff Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team in providing and developing nursing care within the acute medicine division Acute Medical Unit. The post will involve nursing and managing acutely ill patients within an acute setting.
This exciting opportunity will allow individuals to work alongside a team who are devoted to continually improve the quality of care and enhance the patient's experience, as well as ensuring safe and seamless discharge planning. The post will include 24-hour rotation including nights and weekends. In return for commitment and dedication, we offer a comprehensive preceptorship package with the teacher practitioner and the opportunities to learn and develop nursing skills to support patients admitted with acute medical needs.
Main duties of the job
To provide excellent patient-centered care and delivery of fundamentals.
To ensure a safe admission/transfer/discharge.
To work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Identify areas of improvement.
Ensure quality and safety is maintained.
