Staff nurses work closely with the people who use our services, their families, friends and carers and make an important contribution in how people experience our services. Staff nurses work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the team by drawing support from more experienced nurses and other health professionals but also by supervising other staff and learners to ensure they are working to the standards which the people using our services deserve.
You will act as the Named Nurse for allocated patients, ensuring their care plans are up-to-date, recovery-focused, and that risk management strategies are effectively implemented.
Additionally, you will coordinate shifts as required and provide leadership in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
