Job description

Job Summary

The ear nose and throat clinic is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking staff nurse with an interest in ENT to join our small team in outpatients. Experience in ENT is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will work with the ENT medical team supporting daily clinics and undertake to develop skills to support nurse led ENT micro-suction services through formal training and competency-based learning.

Main duties of the job

  • To perform micro-suction for patients in your own clinic
  • To be an enthusiastic team member and assist our team of Doctors in clinics
  • Support and work in the Maxillofacial department when required
  • Self-Confident
  • Ability to be sensitive and empathic as you will be working closely with our Macmillan Nurses and patients who have head and neck cancer
  • Recognises own development needs and able to set personal objectives
