Job description

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home within the Littlehampton, West Sussex area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

This care home provides long stay and respite residential care for older people with physical frailty and for older people who are living with dementia.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As a Nurse, Your Key Duties Include:

  1. Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
  2. Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing, and updating care plans to meet our residents' physical and social needs.
  3. Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift: ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored, and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
  4. Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
  5. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines: identify, investigate, and resolve risks proactively.
  6. Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently and thoroughly all matters relating to residents and employees.

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  1. Good Nursing Experience.
  2. Excellent Clinical Skills.
  3. Able to write Care Plans.
  4. Able to show Empathy and warmth.
  5. Able to carry out general nursing tasks such as Peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy, etc.
  6. You will carry out admissions.
  7. Delegate duties to junior staff.
  8. Provide excellent nursing care.

Benefits:

The successful Nurse for this position will receive an excellent salary of GBP22.70 per hour and the annual salary of GBP51,937.60 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
