SSSTS/SMSTS Civils Site Supervisor

Teamforce Labour is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and experienced Civils Site Supervisor for upcoming groundworks and reinstatement projects in Nuneaton, Warwickshire (CV10).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering and Utilities contractors, working on challenging and rewarding infrastructure works.
We are looking for a confident, hands-on leader with a minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience in civil engineering or groundworks, who can manage teams effectively while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality on site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate all aspects of daily groundworks operations
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
3. Oversee reinstatement of agricultural land - this experience is essential
4. Manage and motivate groundworks teams to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to specification
5. Monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring standards are maintained
6. Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site stakeholders
7. Report directly to site/project management

Essential Requirements:

1. Proven experience in reinstatement of agricultural land
2. Solid knowledge of groundworks techniques, processes, and materials
3. Strong leadership and team management skills
4. Excellent communication and organisational abilities
5. SSSTS or SMSTS (must be in date)
6. 2 recent references
7. Up-to-date CV outlining relevant experience
8. Valid CSCS card - Gold or Black preferred

Desirable:

1. Additional plant or safety-related certifications
2. First Aid at Work
