Job description

The Senior Project Manager will support multiple projects in our strategic portfolio and will provide the following services:

  • Develop an integrated plan and RACI that consolidates work in progress
  • Facilitate working group(s) and stakeholders
  • Business Analysis
  • Identify, mitigate and report on risks
  • Facilitate resolution to issues / escalate where required
  • Manage the plan to achieve results, remove barriers for the team, coordinate activities
  • Work closely with Division leadership and organizational change management to ensure effective change planning
  • Support the Corporation's stakeholders
  • Provide a monthly written status report
  • Adhere to the Project Management Office standards and governance
  • Other project management services, as required

Mandatory and Desired Skills:

  • The resource must have a Project Management certification from PMI such as PMP, PMI-ACP.
  • Eight years or more leading major projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • The resource must have a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent field.

Desired Skills:

  • Eight (8) years minimum of cumulative traditional project manager experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience, managing the project working group team, managing up to senior stakeholders and achieving results. Preference given to those with experience in the last five (5) years.
  • Demonstrated experience managing three or more major projects. Preference given to those with experience in the last five (5) years.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting business analysis to support project planning. Preference given to those with experience in the last five (5) years.
