Sr. Product Manager, Inventory Management, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)

FBA is an Amazon service, which vision is to create a seamless experience for our selling partners to leverage our world-class facilities and reach to millions of customers.

The FBA team is looking for a creative, dynamic, and experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead the Inventory Management area to answer questions like: How do you manage inventory when you don't own it? How do you optimize the supply chain using new ideas never implemented at this scale to benefit millions of customers? If these types of questions sound interesting, we want to hear from you.

This role will require working with supply chain and tech teams across the world to define, prioritize, and deliver key enhancements to our inventory tools for our Selling Partners. This role will particularly suit someone with strong analytical abilities, relationship-building skills, and superb project management capabilities.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Own key inventory management metrics, ensuring timely reporting and developing insights about their evolution, as well as using advanced analytics to suggest new metrics.
  2. Identify new opportunities and lay out the plan to improve our inventory performance based on data analysis and the voice of sellers/customers.
  3. Execute the plan by partnering with operations, tech, sales, marketing, and global stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 5+ years total experience in strategic planning and project management.
  2. Proven track record of taking ownership and driving business performance.
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization and global teams.
  4. Demonstrated skills in managing complex processes with multiple business owners, making trade-offs against business priorities.
  5. Strong quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and opinions.
  6. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  7. English - business level including verbal and written communications.
  8. Bachelor's degree required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  2. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  3. Experience in e-Commerce, Supply Chain, Consulting, or Finance.
  4. Master's degree or equivalent in Logistics / Supply Chain / Mathematics / Science / Engineering.
  5. Business level Japanese.
