Responsibilities

  1. Execute the product vision and roadmap with the goal of creating a single source of truth for fund and investment data.
  2. Liaise with existing clients and market-facing internal teams to understand the existing landscape and plan for an improved future state.
  3. Own the Consolidated Back Office offering, while also collaborating with and influencing product managers for investment accounting and fund accounting.
  4. Work with other members of middle- and back-office product teams to prioritize features across product verticals to enhance the overall Allvue offering.
  5. Translate the complexities of fund operations into simplified and automated workflows.
  6. Assess and analyze competitive products to understand where our products add value and are differentiated.
  7. Appraise new ideas for market viability.
  8. Prioritize milestones and tasks with product owners and engineering team(s).
  9. Track KPIs for product success.

Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of experience in fund accounting, with a working knowledge of investment accounting.
  2. Clear understanding of the public/private credit and/or PE/VC/RE markets, specifically in middle- and back-office processes.
  3. Strong technical foundation with API-first product design.
  4. Understanding of automation and data centralization.
  5. Experience with integration-heavy products or middleware solutions.
  6. Exceptional listening skills, attention to detail, and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to distill and translate advanced financial and technical topics into easily communicable business concepts for execution by our Engineering team.
  8. A self-starter personality is a must; comfort with ambiguity and ability to add value and drive product development in rapidly changing environments.
  9. Fluency in financial jargon and ability to communicate effectively with Private Equity and/or Private Credit business users.
