Responsibilities:

1. Manages other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations.
2. Provides support and helps lead project teams in the design, execution, analysis, interpretation, and reporting or communication of data evidence for Pre/Early/Late Development, Research & Discovery, Medical Affairs, or Manufacturing Sciences programs for research, development, and/or marketed products.
3. Leads project teams in the execution of research programs and assists SDS in experimental design, modeling, analysis planning, analysis execution, interpretation and statistical communications.
4. Acts as an established leader and provides input to project teams to optimize study or trial designs in line with study or indication level objectives and supports scenario simulations and sample size determination based on relevant technical and disease/scientific/functional knowledge.
5. Identifies and assists in the implementation of innovative statistical approaches.
6. Represents Statistics & Decision Sciences (SDS) cross-departmental and intra-departmental teams or working groups, including Janssen senior management-level reviews.
7. Applies advanced statistical methodology in assigned projects, such as clinical trials, with demonstrated integrated disease/scientific/functional area understanding and health authority acceptability.
8. Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
9. Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
