AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Within SMGS, the World-Wide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is seeking a Sr. Manager of Data and AI Specialists team (D&AI) focusing on Global Financial Services (GFS) organizations. The D&AI team consists of domain specialists and subject matter experts across AWS Products and Services for Data and AI, spanning Storage, Database, Analytics through to Generative AIML.
This team works in partnership with the global sales team to accelerate the adoption of AWS cloud across services, solutions, workloads and AWS offerings. This is a critical role reporting directly to the WWSO Specialists Team Leader and partners closely with Worldwide service domain teams as well as product leaders.
This Sr. Manager is also responsible for guiding and leading the Specialists to developing and implementing the business development plan in support of GFS sales organization, prioritize strategic initiatives and investments, as well as drive and deliver customer adoption plans. This team leads field motions with deep domain expertise and also includes cross service C-level conversations with our largest and most strategic financial services Customers.
The Specialist team that this person will lead also acts as an important feedback ingestion point from all GFS customers that directly feeds into the roadmap for product and services team at AWS. While leading a team of technical, product, and business experts, you will lead domain-based discussions with C-suite executives. You play a critical role in taking the voice of the customer and sharing it back to the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) team to ensure customer feedback is amplified to effectively influence our technology roadmaps and Go-To-Market strategy.
This role will contribute to the overall performance of the business globally measured by revenue growth, net new customers, and product and service influence. You will have experience as a leader of leaders, with significant vertical exposure. You will have overachieved throughout your career and built strong, deep relationships with global organizations and scientific community.
