An established industry player is seeking a Sr. IT Program Manager to oversee the Program Management Office for regional governance. DESCRIPTION
The Ops Tech Solutions Deployment (OTS-D) organization manages the IT Infrastructure scope of a complex suite of projects. It is responsible for the delivery of initiatives across business teams and operations groups within Amazon Fulfilment. Our projects deliver on the solutions that power the physical fulfilment of our customers' orders. These projects include the deployment of IT Infrastructure for new site launches, new customer products and existing infrastructure enhancements across the globe that has a direct impact on the ability to ship packages to millions of Amazon.com customers across the world.
As a Sr. IT Program Manager of regional governance, you will be the regional owner of the Program Management Office (PMO), defining the overall strategy and driving initiatives to improve the tooling, governance and measurement of project and program performance across UK, EU and Middle East. You will drive regional governance and reporting mechanisms for our deployment projects and programs, define and measure key performance indicators, drive reporting compliance and data accuracy. You will use program performance indicators to identify and deliver initiatives to improve performance and operational efficiencies.
In this role you will also lead regional project and program resource demand forecasting and capacity planning, supporting work allocation and prioritization discussions at a regional level.
