The Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual with a chemical engineering background; able to support a portfolio of E&C, Oil and Gas and PetroChemical customers in their use of our industry software products.

The successful applicant will achieve this by defining and executing Adoption plans to enable customers to adopt and sustain the usage of our products and solutions.

Customer Success Specialists must align our success with customer business initiatives by possessing an unrivalled sense of autonomy, ownership, and dedication to helping each customer to increase their maturity in the adoption of our products. Your Impact
  • Own the adoption and renewal results for a portfolio of medium sized accounts.
  • Deliver business impact and innovation to a customer's business by truly understanding our customers' key business issues and opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across multiple accounts to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer while penetrating the account deeper.
  • Understand the customers’ business environment, challenges and opportunities, and align AspenTech’s initiatives with the customers’ business initiatives, ultimately aligning AspenTech’s success to the customers’ success.
  • Provide proactive customer contact and occasional customer visits to perform Business Reviews, to improve relationship and plan with customers to help them meet their productivity objectives through the use of our products and services.
  • Collaborate internally with sales account managers, solution consultants, implementation and support teams, and product management groups to develop and execute Adoption plans and initiate renewal and expansion opportunities to generate new revenue.
  • Ability to effectively facilitate and lead cross-functional teams and resources; manage both with and without organization authority.
  • Deliver high level product insight and strategy advice for sales enablement, communication, and training initiatives.
  • Uncover and mitigates any risk that threatens your Customers’ growth, satisfaction, or renewal; conceive and execute risk mitigation plans by utilizing all available AspenTech resources.
  • Responsible for nurturing assigned account base into long term partnerships while increasing customer usage and adoption of solutions
What You'll Need
  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience working in the Engineering and Construction, Oil and Gas sector or PetroChemicals sectors of the process industries and in Pre-Sales, Consulting Customer Relationship Management or Program Management preferred. University experience may be considered.
  • Experience of working with middle and senior management levels.
  • Proven ability to effectively facilitate and lead cross-functional teams and resources.
  • Exceptional business acumen with firm grasp of how business works, including sales, consultative, problem solving, and issue resolution skills.
  • Fluent English speaker, second language desirable (Spanish, Italian, French, German).
  • Knowledge of AspenTech Engineering or Manufacturing Suite products (or similar software suites in the process industries) desirable.
  • Limited travel.
