TRS Staffing Solutions have a fantastic contract opportunity for an SQS Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a range of skills and experience, see below for further details:

1. Able to demonstrate inspection experience (NDE, welding, coating, pressure vessel, etc.)
2. Knowledge and experience in ASME, API, AWS, AS, BS, DNV, TEMA, NORSOK, ISO, ASNT, ASTM, NACE, SSPC, AISC and EN standards.
3. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
4. Familiarity with ISO 9000; 14000 and 45000 Series and International Standards relevant to Oil and Gas Industry preferred.
5. 9001 Lead Auditor certification by outside agency (e.g., RAB, ASQ, IQA, etc.) preferred.
6. Provide effort hour estimates for all project supplier quality surveillance activities, both home office and at supplier facilities.
7. Closely monitor effort hour expenditures and expense costs for compliance with project budgetary requirements.
8. Provide support to client quality manager/representative, as required.
9. Input Inspector Performance Measurement into Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS) Software Applications for all assignments.
10. Provide project with historic data on supplier’s performance capabilities and/or inadequacies.
11. Provide administrative direction and general supervision to all SQS inspection aspects of Project SQS execution Plan including planning, manpower requirements, problem solving, cost control, and level of competencies required.
12. Ensure the quality of SQS inspection services provided satisfies operational standards and client/project-specific requirements.
13. Provide technical direction and expertise to Quality Operations.
