The Role

We are seeking a talented SQL Developer to join our development team. This permanent position is based at our headquarters in Newcastle and follows a hybrid work model. You will be engaged in client-facing activities, primarily working with customers in the banking sector to enhance and integrate our data management solutions utilising Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL development, including expertise in creating stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers, along with a solid understanding of relational database principles.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform advanced SQL optimisation and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the capability to translate business requirements into effective database designs.
• Familiarity with PL/SQL or T-SQL is a plus.
• Experience in unit testing and creating reusable test harness frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, analytical, and organisational capabilities.
• Proven experience in a client-facing role, effectively communicating with external clients.
