Spray Painter

Working Hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Friday 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Job Purpose:

Manage and operate the day-to-day running of the Branch paint workshop.

Job Duties:

1. Manage the paint workshop.
2. Prepare and apply protective coatings to the surfaces of various types of materials according to company/customer specifications.
3. Maintain a safe and clean work area.
4. Responsible for all activities associated with maintaining product quality.
5. Support Final Inspection & Despatch.
6. Respond to other Ad-Hoc requests made by higher Management as and when required.

Requirements/Experience/Competence/Qualifications:

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
3. Knowledge of QHSE Legislation.
4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
5. Experience/knowledge on how to use a manual paint spray gun.
6. Experience/knowledge on how to prepare, mix and apply various protective coatings onto different types of materials.
7. Experience/knowledge on how to record, complete & follow relevant PQDs (Job Card, Wis, Paint Schedules, Def: Stan- Paint Systems).

Would suit someone who is experienced with a spray gun and possesses good communication skills. Roles may include spray painter, paint sprayer, industrial painter, or industrial paint sprayer.
