Position:

Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: School in Richmond
Contract: Full-Time - 1 year contract, September 2025 start
Salary: £90-£110 a day

About Us:

Academics are currently looking for a Sports graduate who is passionate about supporting teachers of Physical Education in a vibrant school in Richmond. The school has a well-structured Physical Education (PE) department which focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles and sporting excellence. They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant to support their dynamic team of PE teachers and help inspire the next generation of athletes.

The school has a well-structured PE curriculum that focuses on the development of young pupils who aspire to become athletes in the future. The school has state-of-the-art sports facilities which allow every student access as part of the PE curriculum. The school has a key focus on sports such as football, hockey, rugby, and tennis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support PE teachers in delivering lessons across a range of activities from Year 3 to Year 7.
  • Provide individual and group support to students during lessons and sports activities.
  • Assist in the setup and management of PE equipment.
  • Help supervise students during physical activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Support the delivery of after-school sports clubs, fixtures, and events.
  • Assist with the assessment of students' progress in PE.
  • Provide general administrative support to the PE department as required.

The school is looking for a committed and passionate teaching assistant who can work on a full-time basis from September onwards. The school is based in Richmond and the school times are 08:30 am to 4 pm.
