Are you a passionate Sports Coach with a desire to make a difference? A school in Tamworth is looking for a dedicated coach to work full-time with children who have challenging behaviour to help deliver boxing sessions. This role starts in March and runs until July 2025.

About the Role

1. Position: Full-Time Sports Coach
2. Location: Tamworth
3. Contract: March – July 2025
4. Focus: Supporting children with challenging behaviour through structured boxing sessions

As a Sports Coach, you will play a key role in engaging students, using sport—particularly boxing—as a tool to build discipline, confidence, and resilience. You will work closely with staff to create a positive and structured environment that supports students’ social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Help assist with boxing sessions
2. Use sport as a tool to promote discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence
3. Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure positive engagement and progress
4. Adapt coaching techniques to meet individual needs
5. Build trusting relationships with students, acting as a positive role model

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting.
