Sport coach PRU

Are you an enthusiastic and passionate worker dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young people as a sports coach? An exciting opportunity has arisen. We are recruiting an individual to work closely with those who have challenging behaviours and social/emotional difficulties, and teach them new skills and be a positive role model to all.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and deliver safe sports lessons according to individual needs.
  2. Deliver high quality structured PE lessons or support within them.
  3. Manage behaviour and relationships with pupils.
  4. Plan lessons based on the national curriculum and adapt them according to the students' needs, promoting teamwork and physical wellbeing through sport activities.

Requirements

  1. Experience working with children in a PRU / SEMH school or setting.
  2. Sports background.
  3. Strong personality.
  4. Relevant qualifications in sports coaching or physical education.
