Job description

Holloway Coaching Ltd is a leading children's sports company dedicated to inspiring young athletes and promoting active lifestyles through fun, engaging sports programs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Sports Coach to join our team and help foster a love for sports in children of all ages and skill levels.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and deliver engaging, age-appropriate coaching sessions for children, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and having fun.
  2. Design and implement training programs that support physical development and promote good sportsmanship.
  3. Create a safe, positive, and supportive environment for children to learn and grow.
  4. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  5. Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience.
  6. Organize and participate in sports events, competitions, and activities for children.
  7. Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and clean environment at all times.
  8. Continuously develop your coaching skills through training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience coaching children in sports (preferably in a group setting).
  2. Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., Level 1/2 Coaching Certification, First Aid/CPR).
  3. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage children in a fun, educational way.
  4. Passion for working with children and helping them develop both in sport and in life.
  5. Ability to manage groups of children and adapt sessions to meet varying skill levels.
  6. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required.
  7. A friendly, energetic, and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience working in a children's sports or educational environment.
  2. Knowledge of child development and sports education strategies.
  3. First Aid and safeguarding certification.
