Sports Coach

Lambeth Borough

ASAP Start

9.30am - 2pm: Monday to Friday

An oversubscribed Special Needs School in Lambeth is recruiting a sports graduate to work as a Play Supervisor. The role is to start ASAP for the remainder of the academic year. Working hours are 9.30am - 2pm Monday to Friday.

The school caters for students aged 2-11 with an EHCP for PMLD, Autism and complex needs. They have a strong academic focus; however, they also wish to develop students' independence in a fun and nurturing way.

Job Details:

  1. Supporting children from Early Years to KS2 Autism and complex needs
  2. Lead and organise games and activities for the children during break and lunch time.
  3. Most of your time will be spent in the playground.
  4. Help children with their social interaction
  5. Have a calm and positive demeanour with a sense of humour
  6. Previous experience with Autism and complex needs is desirable but not essential
  7. Part time - 25 hours per week
