Glasgow Life is looking for a Sport and Physical Activity Coach (Disability Swim) to join us across 2 x 24 hours part time, permanent contracts and/or bank positions covering 40 weeks of the year.
As a Sport and Physical Activity Coach, you will be joining our in-demand Disability Learn to Swim programme and our ASN schools swimming programme. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports children and young people with a disability to be water confident and learn to swim safely.
As a Sport and Physical Activity Coach (Disability Swim), you’ll be joining our Glasgow Life Sport team, playing your part in encouraging people to live an active Glasgow life. Through sport and physical activity, we promote inclusion and wellbeing throughout the city. The role
As a Sport and Physical Activity Coach (Disability Swim), you’ll be an integral part of the team by delivering and implementing a comprehensive learn to swim programme for people with a disability. Reporting to the Sport and Physical Activity Officer (Cohesion) and working alongside an established team of coaching staff.

This role requires delivering both programmes throughout the week and currently requires working daytimes, evenings, and weekend shifts for 40 weeks of the year. The shift pattern may change according to the needs of the programmes.
Consideration can be given to splitting the roles to cover each programme separately.
