Our client, a leading organisation in the membership industry, is seeking a dynamic Sponsorship Officer to support their team for a temporary period of three months. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a sales-focused role, working with warm leads to secure sponsorship contracts.
Organisation: Membership/Not-for-profit Industry
Contract Type: Temporary, 3 months
Hourly rate: £22-£25
Working Pattern: Full Time, hybrid
Location: Closest stations are Holborn & Chancery Lane
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound sponsorship and exhibition queries
- Contact previous sponsors to secure repeat business
- Convert warm leads provided by our client's stakeholders into confirmed sponsorship contracts
- Raise invoices related to sponsorship and exhibition activities
- Follow up with sponsors and exhibition partners to ensure timely payment
- Work on contract administration using Adobe Sign
- Conduct sponsor surveys to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain internal spreadsheets to track the sponsorship pipeline
- Manage and organise data related to sponsorship activities
- Support overall sales pipeline management
- Collaborate with the team to hand over secured contracts for delivery
Key Experience and Skills:
- Previous sales experience
- Previous role in not-for-profit/charity/membership environment
- Ability to effectively manage warm leads
- Proven experience in securing repeat business
- Strong ability to close a sale
- Confident and capable of holding meetings and negotiating with potential sponsors
- Proactive and detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients
